Blue and Golds Face Tough Test in Leeds

The blue and golds will embark on their extremely tough tie in the 2nd round of the BARLA Yorkshire Cup this Saturday. They will travel to Leeds to play Queens.

Coach Rich Shaw commented ” People are expecting us to suffer a heavy defeat or even concede the tie but we are determined to come away with our pride intact. ”

So far this season the Beverley have not exactly fired on all cylinders.

A squad that has been significantly strengthened in the close season with stand off half Steve Jonson a notable capture from Cottingham Tigers has yielded two wins a draw and a defeat from four outings and nothing but their best form must be reserved for this one.

Players and officials are reminded that the bus will leave promptly from Hodgsons at 10.45 Saturday morning.
