Beverley 2nd’s came into this game full of confidence after last week’s win over Goole , they got off to the perfect start with two early tries. The Hullensian Hawks were not going to give up just yet, and hit back with two tries of their own and then had the nerve to take the lead 17-14. But with minutes to spare Beverley restored their lead to make the half time team talk a little bit easier.
An early try in the second half gave Beverley the start they were looking for, and from then on Hullensian hawks were brushed aside with every attack. Now every Beverley player was queueing up to get his name on the score sheet with the likes of Manu Kirkwood, Ian Archibald, Ben Sherwood, and Jamie Gill all going over for tries, in the end Beverley 2nd’s scored 67 points to Hullensian Hawks 17 in a powerful second half display, making it, 6 wins out of 7.
Now let’s hope they can keep the momentum up for their next game.
