Hull Knock Inter Out of Cup

West Hull started off very well in this 1st round cup match putting Inter Beaver under pressure from the start. Beaver fought back with some good passing, with a great deal of string pulling done by Scott-Jon Tyler.

West hull took the lead after Beaver lost the ball, four on two was easy as they took the lead. Good performances from Chris Wilson, Stew Scott and . Chris Wilson saw a header hit the bar late in the first half., plus Beaver had a clear penalty turned down for a handball on the line.The second half started well, after 56 mins Stew Scott got brought down in the box for a penalty, Adam Pardoe slotted the ball home. Sloppy marking from a corner saw West Hull take the lead again.

With two minutes to go Scott-Jon Tyler worked his magic down the left a produced a great cross headed in by Nick Moy. Extra time was a disaster for Beaver conceding two goals in a minute just after the re-start. Uphill battle from then on, West Hull increased their lead after Chris Wilson scored an own goal, Chris Barley pulled one back after a fine through ball from Adam Pardoe. Some good performances but lack of concentration in some parts of the match cost us dearly.
