West Hull Come From Behind to Beat Braves

The home side started confidently with a fantastic kick on the last from Zac Mayo and a very determined chase by Joe Wardill, which led to a drop out. Beverley’s hard work soon paid off after a good passing play by Joe and Zac sending Harry Grey over in the corner, which made the score line 4 – 0 after a missed conversion.

Joe Wardill went over for Braves after a great passing effort. After great running work by West Hull’s Zeus Suk and Bradley Sumington soon forced a mistake from the kick off to send Kyle Haller over to score the away side’s first try of the game just before the half time whistle. The score was 8 – 4 to Beverley at half time. Beverley were the better side in the first half overall until after 15 minutes, letting West Hull back into the game.

Straight away West got a quick try as Christopher Osindeuo went crashing over. Would you believe it, again the away side scoring but this time with Kingsley Oveaon smashing over. Well what a game this turned out to be James McGahey making a outstanding impact tackle for Braves which forced the ball to be dropped by West Hull then Dylan Clifford going over the white wash. But Beverley’s hopes were all over when Walker and Nicolas Omeley for the visitors scored before the end to round a good performance overall  for West Hull.

That’s all from today’s game with Harry Grey putting on a MOTM performance after a great defensive effort and also scoring the opening try.
