The Beverley Whitestar Falcons (wearing orange bibs) came out as 1 – 0 winners over the Beverley Whitestar Hawks.
A second-half goal from Yasmine Shepherd was enough to win and maintain the Falcons’ 100 percent start to the Girls’ U12 Division 2 League.
The players all know each well as both teams train together.
Falcons’ manager Anthony Green was delighted with the result and was quick to praise the Hawks, saying it was the toughest match they have had all season.
Green added “It was a great atmosphere. The parents on the touchline played their part too.”
