Police are appealing for information following a burglary at the home of a vulnerable person in Beverley.
Between 0630hrs and 0852hrs on Sunday 21 November 2010 a 40-year-old disabled woman living in a bungalow on Normandy Avenue was the victim of a burglary.
It is believed a secure side gate was climbed over in order to gain entry to an insecure conservatory door.
Various items from the main bedroom were placed in a black bin liner before the offender was disturbed by the occupier.
The suspect left the bin liner with the contents inside and left the property by the conservatory door.
Nothing was stolen during the burglary but some of the items were damaged including a Apple Powerbook G4 laptop, a pair of Toni and Guy hair straighteners, an Iphone and a TV and DVD combo.
Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity around the Normandy Avenue area between 0630hrs and 0900hrs on Sunday 21 November to come forward.
