Rock Salt: Be Safe & Prepared

People of Beverley, be ready for the next cold snap that is going to hit our region towards the end of the week, according to the Met Office website.

As you may well know, Rock Salt has been about as common as gold dust recently. However, our prayers have been answered by MKM Building Supplies, Swinemoor Lane in Beverley. MKM have stocked up on Rock Salt and shovels to help keep Beverley on its feet.

MKM has gone to extreme lengths to gain access to Rock Salt supplies by driving the length of the country in order to provide the people of Beverley with the material that absolutely EVERYONE is crying out for.
Furthermore, MKM has also stocks “Winter Wizard”. This is another form of Rock Salt, complete with an anti-freeze substance within it so it is able to keep doing its job and working for longer. This comes in various sizes, dependant on the area you need to clear.

Mr Andy Beet, the manager of MKM Beverley commented on the situation: “The first cold snap, the amount of snow that fell and the extremities of it caught a lot of people out. However, here at MKM we are pleased to be providing a great service; supplying Beverley and the surrounding area with Rock Salt in order to allow people to cope with the weather, as oppose to the bad weather causing disruption to the normal flow of life”.

According to the Met Office by Friday 17th December we will be receiving another heavy fall of snow and will continue all of the following week and beyond.

Moreover, MKM are pleased to promote all of these products due to the fact they do an amazing job for the community but also because the products are clean and totally soluble; it leaves no dirty residue; it is non-hazardous in normal use and it is not harmful to animals.

So get stocked up with your Rock Salt, one bag, five bags or a pallet load, keep yourself, your neighbours, your family and your colleagues safe this Christmas period.

From all at MKM, Merry Christmas to all.
