Over 70 members of Beverley Athletic Club took part in the Santa Race around Beverley.
The format of the competition was changed on the night due to the icy weather. The changes were made to avoid any unnecessary risks.
Setting off from the Beverley Leisure Centre the runners completed a lap of the town finishing back where they started. The threat of losing points for not competing in a festive Santa outfit seemed to do the trick with almost every runner turning up in a full Santa outfit.
