Armstrongs Social Club is a members club traditionally known in Beverley as somewhere you can have a great night in a friendly and safe environment. As well as live music and regular member’s events we will be introducing two great new events.
Firstly we will be hosting adult ballroom dance lessons from Sunday Jan 30th onwards, from 6.45pm till 7.45pm. Dancing has always been a big part of the club and we want to encourage more people to get up and have a go. The lessons will be aimed at beginners and will cost £4 a session. We have UKA qualified dance teachers ready to teach you how to ballroom dance and later on in the sessions sequence dance.
Registration forms are available now; the first beginners programme will be 8 weeks and start on the Sunday 30th Jan, hopefully there will be enough demand to continue for many more weeks through the year.
Secondly, the club will be presenting Rock n Roll Nights every last Friday in the month, continuing from the success last year we will have bands from all over the country performing right here in Beverley. The first one on Friday 28th Jan 2011 is a fantastic 4 piece band, Jump N Jive, who went down a storm last year.
