Beverley Town were guilty of throwing away a three goal lead at the Norwood Recreation Ground as they allowed Malet Lambert YC to sneak a draw.
Falling behind, Town battled back to take a 4-1 lead with just 20 minutes on the clock. Two goals from Michael O’Connell and a goal each from Sam Overton and Mathew Dixon put the home side in very commanding position.
The visitors though had other ideas as they scored not one but three goals from corners to level to the scores.
Things went from bad to worse for Town; late on in the second half Mathew Dixon and Ben Thompson both received red cards and will now face a suspension.
The result leaves Beverley Town 10 points behind league leaders Reckitts AFC though Beverley have a game in hand
