The score suggests a miserable day for Beverley U17s.
But fair play to Beverley as they started the first 10/15minutes the brighter and scored the first try of the game. It didn’t take long for Driffield to get themselves back into the game, and as time moved on Driffield started to see more of the ball and put pressure on the Beverley try line.
It was more of the same in the second half, and in the true spirit of the game the Beverley team never gave up. There wasn’t that big a difference in the two sides, it was just that Driffield had one or two players with a bit more quality when it was needed.
