Paul Hegarty has worked in financial services for 25 years – 10 years in banking and 15 years as an IFA. The firm recruited Paul as his specialist area is pensions, particularly Self Invested Personal Pensions (SIPPS) and Inheritance Tax.
Paul says: “The firm is one of few in the area to achieve Chartered Financial Planner status. I saw an exciting opportunity with cba financial services to further my career. One project that I will focus on is redundancy consultation. With Government cuts and changes in both the public and private sectors, it is vital that employees understand the options available to them.”
David Tarbotton is an investment specialist whose background in property and the stock market gave him a broad knowledge base and he is well positioned as an IFA. He says:
“I advise a network of corporate clients on company pension schemes and business protection. My colleagues and I are currently focussing on the National Employment Savings Trust (NEST). Employers are wise to seek advice on this now before the Government automatically enrols them into the minimum contribution scheme.”
