Kyle Cansfield played his last game for Molescroft FC – and it turned out to be a twelve-goal thriller.
Molescroft found life tough at first as they went 4 – 1 down to opponents Willerby Jags.
But they put this behind them and, playing some scintillating attacking football, surged into a 6-4 lead 10 minutes after the restart. Such attacking play left gaps at the back, which the Jags ruthlessly exploited to earn a deserved 6-6 draw.
Speaking afterwards, Molescroft manager Ian Bainton described the game as ‘interesting’.
