Ellis Horsfield was left to rue a poor second-half performance as his Molescroft FC side crashed to a 5-1 defeat at home to Costello Lions.
The Molescroft skipper looked to have set up a mouthwatering second period at Molescroft Pavilion as his equaliser made things level at the break.
But things did not go to plan in the second-half as the Lions showed their killer instinct to fire home four unanswered goals for a comprehensive victory.
A disappointed Horsfield admitted his side were second best after the interval.
He told HU17.net: “We stopped playing our game in the second-half and just gave away daft goals.”
Final Score: Molescroft FC 1 Costello Lions 5
