Beverley Town played out a disappointing goalless draw at the Norwood Recreation Ground.
The match was the first time the Humber Premier League side had played at home since December and it showed as Beverley and Crown FC both failed to score.
Next week Beverley Town will need to raise their game and find a cutting edge in front of goal as they continue in their quest to retain the Grays Cup.
Town face North Cave in the cup the side who demolished Hodgsons FC in the previous round.
