Over 200 pancakes were eaten by those who entered the doors of Toll Gavel United Church on Shrove Tuesday.
Invitations sent out to local schools about the event were well received as people flocked through the door to enjoy the church’s hospitality.
It is said there is no such thing as a free meal, but pancakes and hospitality came at no cost so all who enjoyed the event now Know food can come free, just like God’s love. Watch this space for more events and remember, you will always receive a warm welcome at Toll Gavel.
