Peter Brinham from Hull has relocated his butchers shop from Newland Avenue in Hull to Beverley taking over the Ye Old Pork Shop which he reopened this week.
Peter who is 40 years old has been a butcher since left school some 25 years ago, has now taken over the shop located near Wednesday Market where he will sell meat that is sourced from within the East Riding.
Peter said;
“For around three years now I have been looking to move the business to Beverley.”
“I got a call a few weeks ago to say this shop was free and jumped at the chance.”
Peter will be assisted by Craig Shorter and Alex Stephenson. Craig has some experience as is being trained up by Peter while Alex a former engineer with the Royal Navy is learning the trade for the first time.

Nice to see the shop open again it is up to Peter to provide what the people want and the people of Beverley to “use it or loose it”. I hope that the shop is a great success.
