Beverley Grammar School beat Longcroft School in the annual rugby competition and, judging by the reaction of the players, it meant a lot to them.
Beverley Grammar School won three of the four games yesterday as their Year 7, 8 and 9 teams all beat their Longcroft counterparts.
Longcroft did win one of their matches, the Year 10 lads beating Beverley Grammar Year 10 51-6.
Beverley Grammar are 3 – 1 up in the competition with just one fixture remaining that will be played later today.
