Braves Win on the Big Stage

Beverley Braves under 8’s continued their progression on Friday night with an unforgettable win at the KC stadium. Playing at half time during the Hull FC V Castleford Super League game they overcame a gallant West Hull by 2 tries to nil.

A tremendous defensive effort from everyone kept the opposition scoreless throughout. Strong running from Isaac Merryweather, William Cohen and the Nuttall twins (Tom and Alex)got Beverley on the front foot, with Ellis Gaden, Shamus Blades, Bryan Usher, Charlie Barker and Lewis Bradley also a threat. Adam Greenwood and new boys this season Tommy Braithwaite, Jacob Parkinson and Fergus Waddington also played their part with Charlie Gay and Alexie Rawlings the Braves try scorers.

Special thanks to coach Craig Collins and all at Hull FC for a night the boys will remember for a long time.
