Swinemoor Primary School have enjoyed a week of creativity under a renowned professional sculptor.
Deputy head teacher Jane Sharp told HU17.net: “Our children from Years 5 and 6 have been lucky enough to participate in a fabulous Paper Sculpture Project this week, led by visiting artist Philip Cox and funded by kind sponsorship from some of the school’s funds, including Beverley Rotary Club.
“Philip Cox is a high-profile professional sculptor who has exhibited his unique paper figures all over the UK and Europe, including a window display for the prestigious department store Harvey Nichols in London.
“Our children are working with Philip to create sculptures of famous Victorians, to compliment all of the work they have completed on Victorian Britain this term.”
