Beverley Town continued their good form with home win against St Andrews at the Norwood Recreation Ground.
Town took the lead from a Micheal O’connell free kick that just too powerful for the St Andrews keeper.
Town added a second goal to extend their lead before the visitors pulled one back making for a tense finish at the Norwood Recreation Ground.
Manager Dave Walton said after the game:
“This was a tough game; we made things difficult for ourselves letting them get a goal back though the side did well to hold despite a few scares late on.”
The win moves Town up to fifth place in the Humber Premier League, Town next face league leaders and title favourites Sculcoates Amateurs on Tuesday evening.
