For many centuries Christians have followed in the footsteps of Jesus from his arrest in the Garden of Gethsemane through to his trial, crucifixion, death and burial to his resurrection on Easter Day.
In the Holly Land this journey may follow the actual route Jesus took but the same journey may be made devotionally, in the heart and mind, in towns and churches throughout the world.
Here in Beverley the churches have come together on Good Friday for many years to celebrate, in different ways, the passion of Our Lord.
