Join Beverley Racecourse for a themed race night with a difference.
Racegoers will each be given a padlock or key on arrival and it’s up to you to spend the evening looking for the one that matches yours. Find it and you could win a whole host of prizes – winners will be announced in a prize draw after the fourth race (approximately 8pm). If you fancy a flutter, races will be taking place throughout the night.
Six horse races will take place on the night and organisers say people can get as much or as little involved in the Lucky in Love challenge as they want to. The padlocks and keys will be mixed up between men and women, ensuring that even if people don’t happen to be single they can still just have fun getting to know other racegoers.
Sally Iggulden, chief executive of Beverley Racecourse, says the event proved so popular last year that it really is back by demand this year and she is expecting it to be a huge hit.
