Beverley restaurant Dine On The Rowe is bringing its inventive take on quality, local produce to bear on the great British fry-up.
From tomorrow (Saturday), chef/owner Jason Rowe is offering the very best in Yorkshire on a plate as part of Dine On The Rowe’s new lunch and brunch menu.
All the ingredients are from Yorkshire – with most from East Yorkshire – and Jason can pinpoint exactly where each and every item on the plate (or slate, as it is with Dine On The Rowe’s take) comes from.
The full English costs £7.45 and comes with a distinctly lively Virgin Mary (made with fresh horseradish for an extra kick) or fresh orange juice, and unlimited Yorkshire tea.
For a little extra, you can order scrambled eggs instead of a fried egg, and black pudding, while you can order the fine, own-blend coffee that Jason confidently claims is the best coffee in the area.
This special blend has been developed in conjunction with Blending Room, who have a stall on Saturday Market, and is single estate, smooth and chocolatey, but still heartingly strong.
While the food undoubtedly speaks for itself, the atmosphere, ambience and all-round commitment to local produce at the Butcher Row restaurant is something Jason is keen to emphasise.
He told HU17.net: “Sometimes people think Dine On The Rowe is posh, but I think we offer great quality food in a good environment at good prices.
“It’s a great place to come to find new and inventive food, all locally sourced and with a low carbon footprint.”
