Sheila Granger ‘Virtual Gastric Band’ Book Launch

UK Clinical Hypnotherapist, Sheila Granger is celebrating the launch of Sheila Granger’s “Virtual Gastric Band Workbook” which is the culmination of two and a half years work, with hundreds of clients and development of the system which incorporates the Virtual Gastric Band (VGB), now professing to be “The solution to the worldwide obesity epidemic”.

Working with New York Hypnotist, Marc Carlin, the pair promote Sheila’s training around the globe and the sensible next step was to publish a work-book which makes the “Virtual Gastric Band” accessible to all and is suitable for anyone wanting to lose weight.

The work-book includes eight golden rules and offers practical examples on how to make the conscious changes in behaviour that are required for weight loss and ongoing weight management.

Starting out as a clinical hypnotherapist in 2009, Sheila Granger understood that in order to attract attention from medical practitioners, she would have to prove the effectiveness of hypnotherapy in weight loss.  Two clinical trials produced a 95% success rate and generated media interest and the attention of medical professionals.

Feedback from the trial and a continual stream of private clients shows that the VGB is like ‘flicking a switch in the brain’, enabling a person to stop eating when satisfied and have control over cravings.

Sheila Granger says: “I am fully aware that the VGB sounds too good to be true and for this reason I put its effectiveness to a trial.  Hypnotherapy has not generally been taken seriously by the medical profession but its benefits are profound and I have worked with many people of varying shape, size and background to prove that the issue of their weight is all in the mind.”

“Hypnotherapy facilitates a change in people by helping them to help themselves.  By altering habitual behaviours associated with food and eating we are able to replace the psychological triggers such as the need for food as a comfort or to relieve boredom and replace them with positive feelings to change the cycle of negativity.”

“My workbook, co-written with Marc Carlin brings together the elements of successful hypnotherapy.  I am passionate about this system and seeing the positive impact it has had on the lives of my clients, I am confident it can help alleviate the obesity epidemic on a global scale.”

Published by Inception House Publishing the book will be available from Amazon shortly and the first 50 copies are free.  The price is £10 including P&P.
