Beverley born racer James Westmoreland took park in the third round of the British superbikes held at the Croft circuit in north Yorkshire, and claimed his best position so far finishing 12th in both of the races.
HU17 was at Croft Circuit to capture the very best action images from the days racing. James now rides for the Motorpoint Yamaha team (bike #27) alongside fellow rider Loris Baz, from France.
This is another step up on the motorcycling ladder for James who now rubs shoulders with top riders from around the world such as; Ryuichi Kiyonari (JPN), Josh Brooks (AUS) and John Hopkins (USA). The first race was won by Jon Kirkham on the Samsung crescent Suzuki, however the second race was won by Shane Byrne on the HM Plant Honda.
