The weather played it’s part in Beverley Town’s fixtures this week with only three teams able to play their matches, the Men’s B away fixture postponed due to heavy showers.
The Mixed team played Market Weighton A at Norwood Park in sunny but very blustery conditions, the swirling wind often dictating the outcome of points played. Beverley Town coped the better of the two sides taking the match 6-3 with Paul Miller and Sharon Lockwood and Phil Harrison and Jackie Langley winning all their sets to help the team continue their unbeaten run so far.
Beverley Men’s A managed to complete their home match against Malton C despite the showers , narrowly winning 5-4. Beverley Mens C , also at home, were disappointed not to consolidate their first win last week losing to Beeford B 6-3.
