Beverley Town teams broke even in terms of results this week, with two wins and two losses.
The mixed team played their closest match of the season so far at Cherry Burton, winning 5-4 with only one game making the winning difference.
Phil Harrison and Jackie Langley were the most comfortable pair on the hard courts wining all three sets, with Gary Wilson and Ros Parvin taking one and Paul Miller and Sharon Lockwood, off their usual form, sealing the victory with one set.
Mens A and Mens B, both in Driffield Div 3, contested their first tie of the season in a hard fought match with the injury hit A team fighting hard for the win.
However, Beverley B played the more consistent tennis to take the spoils 6-3 with the pairings of Richard Morris and Nigel Cordingley, Phil English and Paul Cook, and Gus Whitehead and Dave Bell each taking two sets.
Beverley Mens C had a longer journey to play Settrington B and once again lost 6-3 against a more experienced league side.
