Beverley Whitestar Rams blew away the opposition to win the Sproatley tournament at the weekend.
If victory itself was not enough for the Rams, they also went through their entire seven-game run without conceding a goal, a proud achievement for a defence with Lewis Richardson behind it.
The format was round-robin in two groups of six. After drawing their first game 0-0, the Rams won all four of their remaining group games to cruise into top spot.
They then demolished a team from Scarborough 5-0 in the semi-finals, before showing all their grit and determination in the final to beat East Hull Boys 1-0.
