Shipyard workers from Beverley and Hull held a reunion at Armstrongs Social Club.
Graham Ostler, the current chairman of Beverley ARLC, worked in Beverley as an apprentice welder before the site was closed in 1977.
The event, which was organised by Keith Pearson was also used to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
