Beverley Town’s players have been given their pre-season call to arms as they prepare for one of their biggest campaigns in recent years.
The players will start their pre-season training at Beverley Grammar School on Wednesday 13 July, starting a 6.15pm. All new players are welcome.
It’s a huge season for the team who have consistently been the town’s number one side for two reasons,.
Firstly they will be without Stu Akaster, who stepped down as chairman after more than a decade at the helm. He has been replaced by Raoul Lempriere.
But their main challenge for the season will be maintaining their position as the top team in Beverley following the promotion of Hodgsons FC to the top division of the Humber Premier League.
Hodgsons FC manager Lee Hastings has already warned Beverley Town that the Tanners intend to steal their crown.
