Youth and sports development workers from East Riding of Yorkshire Council have joined forced to organise an It’s A Knockout competition and are inviting teams of young people to join in.
On Monday July 11, between 6pm and 9pm, workers from the detached youth team, along with youth clubs from Beverley, Walkington, Tickton and Dunswell will be among the teams taking part at Woodhall Way fields, Molescroft, Beverley.
The prize for the winners will be an evening of rock climbing at Rock City in Hull.
The event is being supported by Molescroft Parish Council and Beverley Town Council will be sending Bertie Beaver, who will present the prizes.
Youth service manager, Jackie Brewis said: “It is great to see events like this taking place where young people can take part in fun and challenging activities.
“We very much appreciate the support given by other partners and organisations that enable us to provide these activities. I am sure it will be a great evening.”
Organisations who work with young people in the Beverley area and who are interested in taking part, should contact Vivien Stephens on 07917 506432
