That Friday Feeling: Beverley Races

Friday evening saw thousands of people descend on Beverley Racecourse for the first of two days racing.

The day saw Cheyenne Red, a horse owned by local racing syndicate Crown Lanark and The Beverley Boys, take to the Westwood track in the 8.30 Feguson Fawsitt Arms Hadicaps Stakes.

There was to be no fair tale day for the The Beverley Boys as Cheyenne Red finished a few lengths behind the race winner.

Racing returns again to Beverley this afternoon and promises to be another top day in the sunshine.

Today it is the turn of another local racing syndicate, Three County Partnership, bringing their horse to Elusive run on their home track.
