Two local charities were presented with cheques totalling over £1500 … the proceeds from a recent concert given by Beverley Community Choir at Toll Gavel United Church.
The event, which also featured the East Riding Suzuki Violin group, was hailed as a very successful and enjoyable night by both The Cherry Tree Community Association and Beverley Community Lift.
“There was a wonderful sense of celebration about the whole evening,” said Sue Murray the choirs’ Musical Director,
“… with local performers of all ages coming together to raise funds for two very hardworking local charities. As a Community Choir, we like to support local groups whenever we can.”
