Alan Porter is the new public relations officer for Beverley Lions.
He takes over from previous incumbent Harry Burton, who has held the post for the past 10 years.
Harry told HU17.net: “I am staying in the Lions but I have done the PRO job for about 10. I also run the golf day, which is very time consuming, and the Christmas lights etc, so I said I thought someone else should take it on.
“We do try to rotate jobs in the Lions and I am sure Alan Porter will do a fine job.”
