Mr & Mrs Wrighton celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with friends by having meal at Rolando’s restaurant, Beverley.
The couple received a special card and message from Her Majesty the Queen congratulating them on reaching their Diamond Wedding Anniversary.
At the Rose & Crown Lola Bignall was enjoying the summers evening too. At the pub to celebrate with birthday Amanda Price Lola had two unusual friends in Melody and Harmony, a pair of stick insects.
While at the The Royal Standard Joe Tattersall was doing his best to look pretty in pink and blend with the flowers.
