It’s A Dog’s Life – Charity Agility Day @ Beverley Maze

Popular East Riding attraction Beverley Maze is inviting dog owners to bring their pets to a charity dog agility day on 13th August.

Organised by East Yorkshire Agility Club to raise funds for Hearing Dogs, the day will feature dog agility demonstrations and an opportunity for people to put their own pets through their paces on the course.

There will also be a fun dog show with classes including the dog with the waggiest tail and the dog that looks most like its owner.

Beverley Maze owner John Clappison explained why they have organised the day;

“We don’t normally allow dogs into the maze, so it gives people the chance to bring their dogs out for a fun day in a beautiful, rural location with lots of places to walk whilst raising valuable funds for Hearing Dogs.  We’re really looking forward to it.”

In addition to the canine capers, visitors can enjoy bee shaped maze with fun quiz trail and look-out towers, there will be a play area with go-karts, trampoline, mini digger, bouncy slide and coin operated quad bikes.  Refreshments and ice cream will also be available.

The maze will be open between 10am and 5.30pm and admission costs £6.00 per adult and £5.00 for children 3-15 and senior citizens.  Under 3’s and wheelchair users are free and a family ticket costs £20.00.
