Humberside Police are appealing for information following an incident which happened between 0915hrs and 2200hrs on Tuesday 16 August 2011 at an address on Keldgate in Beverley.
The suspect(s) approached the terraced property on Keldgate from the rear and forced entry via a back door. Once inside a search was then carried out which resulted in credit cards, aftershave, a white coloured Apple laptop computer and quantity of cash being taken from within.
The suspect(s) then left in an unknown direction.
It is thought the crime may have been committed at around 1500hrs so police are asking for any residents who may have witnessed any suspicious activity around that time to come forward by calling Humberside Police on 0845 60 60 222 quoting crime ref 1856191.
