Beverley Gets A Makeover

The Search is on for the Face of New Salon Chain Beau & Joli

A local salon based in Beverley is part of an expansion of independent, affordable, boutique ‘super salons’ opening across Yorkshire and is currently celebrating its launch by calling out for local, healthy, natural beauties to apply to become ‘the face’ of the brand through its ‘Beauty from the Inside out’ campaign aimed at promoting healthy lifestyles.

The Beau & Joli chain has transformed a Beverley beauty salon, formally known as Frangipani to provide a range of treatments as well as advice on nutrition and personal fitness to support its clients in maintaining a healthy beauty lifestyle, the salons aim to define beauty in terms of looking good through feeling good.

The campaign ‘Beauty from the Inside Out’ will launch across social media channels www.facebook.com/beau.joli and http://twitter.com/Beauandjoli to engage with both males and females who enjoy living energetic, healthy lifestyles and feel great from the inside out.

Entrants will be urged to upload images of them ‘feeling good and looking great’ and write a mini description on the photo tag as to how they achieve this. Maybe a morning run helps to increase your blood circulation to the scalp, along with vital nutrients which promote healthy hair growth, or inner calm and relaxation is found at an evening yoga session, helping to replenish oxygen, ensuring radiant, glowing skin.

Beau & Joli will whittle down the entrants by seeing how many ‘votes in the form of ‘Likes’ the photo’s get on the Facebook page and select a shortlist which will be invited to showcase their ‘look’ in-front of a judging panel at the official launch event (details to be released shortly).

The winners, one male one female, will receive a prize worth £800 made up of a promotional modelling shoot, a dedicated profile section on the brand’s website, online exposure, clothing supplied by Joanna Lomas, styling and product gifts from Beau & Joli and www.speckyfoureyes.com,  a style profile editorial column in Urban Coco, Schwarzkopf products and a Beau & Joli hair and beauty package.

Nutritional consultant and Owner and Director of Beau & Joli Salons, Charlotte Armitage is very keen to help people understand that beauty comes from within, it is something everyone radiates when they feel good. Charlotte said:

“This campaign is not about being super fit and training constantly in the gym, it’s about leading a healthy lifestyle to suit you and make you feel, and therefore look, great.

“There are millions of beauty treatments and styling tips which can transform a person’s image to make them feel an ‘aesthetic’  image boost, but to really give each haircut or facial a lasting finish the key is to feel confident, in good health and happy. This has to be done from the inside out.

“At Beau & Joli our teams are trained in a variety of wellbeing, nutritional and fitness disciplines, which transform your monthly salon trip to help you understand how you can maintain that post salon look from a feel-good perspective. We aim to deliver long lasting results right up until your next trim or manicure.”
