‘That Glorious Noise Comes’ To Beverley Minster

On 26th November Beverley Minster will play host to “That Glorious Noise”, raising money for The Muscular Dystrophy Campaign.

The evening will be headlined by the superb English tenor Jonathan Ansell who will be supported by Coronation Street’s Holly Quin Ankrah.

Jonathan will be accompanied by three of his most skilled and trusted musicians and choral support will come from the Rodillian Singers, an award winning choir from West Yorkshire.  Also performing will be Beverley’s own Longcroft Gospel Choir.

The team behind “That Glorious Noise” have worked with some of the biggest names in Classical Music producing shows headlined by Katherine Jenkins, Russell Watson and Lee Mead in some of Britain’s most cherished historic venues, York Minster, Woburn Abbey and Lincoln Cathedral.

Beverley Minster provides the perfect backdrop for an evening of high quality entertainment with a seasonal theme.  Subtle lighting will highlight the stunning architecture of the Minster and the excellent acoustics will contribute to a show that is quite different from a traditional theatre performance.

The evening is to be held in aid of The Muscular Dystrophy Campaign, the UK’s only charity supporting all muscle conditions.

The charity funds vital research but also funds care programmes, often working in partnership with the NHS providing essential support for the 60,000 families affected by muscle disease in the UK.
