Humberside Police are appealing for witnesses following a fail-to-stop road traffic collision on Sunday 18 September 2011.
At 1545hrs a white coloured Mazda estate motor car was approaching the roundabout between the A614 and the A1079 when a car collided with the rear of the vehicle.
The driver of the Mazda sustained minor injuries as a result of the incident and did not require hospital treatment.
The driver of the offending vehicle failed to stop at the scene, and police are seeking witnesses to the collision to help identify the driver and the vehicle.
The vehicle is described as a maroon coloured Ford Fiesta and is suspected to have substantial damage to the front of the vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle is described as a white man, aged in his thirties with a bald head and wearing a grey coloured top.
There was also a female passenger in the vehicle with blonde hair and a green coloured top.
Following the collision, the Fiesta is believed to have travelled along the A1079 towards Beverley.
