90 year 11 pupils completed their Sports Leaders level 1 qualifications in the sunshine at Longcroft School this morning.
They had opted to take the award in year 10 and this was their final assessment.
About 300 year 2 3 and 4 pupils from St Mary’s Primary School and Molescroft Primary School came along to help.
The primary pupils took part in Multi-Skills activities working their way round 10 stations run by the Sports Leaders.
There were groups on the field, the 3G and in the sports Hall.
Teachers at the primary schools and the Longcroft PE staff were delighted with the enthusiasm and understanding demonstrated by the Longcroft pupils.
