Mill Lane United continued their winning ways with an impressive win over Hornsea Sporting at Broadgates.
However the score line did not reflect the determined effort by Hornsea that kept the home side to a narrow lead at half time with goals from Mill Lane’s Connie Forward, Isobel Gillyon and captain Hope Barrett with a reply from Hornsea’s Jessica Nicholson.
Great defence work by Mill Lane United in both the first half with Isabelle Dodds and the outstanding Alex Clark continued with Chloe Davison coming on for Dodds in the second half and making a good debut impression.
Hornsea continued to rally with an excellent passing game only for Mill Lane keeper Chloe Hakeney to deny them time after time.
Further attacking forays by Mill Lane United continued with great runs from Millie Gray and for Gillyon to add three more goals, Barrett two and
Forward another to give Mill Lane United a deserved victory.
