Molescroft FC were beaten 3 – 1 at home this weekend as they hosted North Ferriby United at the Molescroft Pavilion.
Skipper Ellis Horsefield blamed the result on poor finishing and lack of concentration, speaking after the match he told HU17.net;
“We did not start the first half very well at all and gave away a sloppy goal.”
“Slowly we got back into the match and had a few efforts but we could not find the back of the net.”
Horsefield and his side did get level after a keeping error however they failed to capitalise and it was United who scored twice to finish the game off.
