It is that wonderful time of year again when Real Aid launch their appeal for the support of our local community to donate a gift box.
These amazing gifts will be received by some of the world’s poorest children. Last year the Tickton based charity received a record breaking response from schools groups and individuals across the area.
Last year people like you helped change the lives of over 4587 children. The gift boxes were hand delivered by Real Aid to children in some of the poorest communities in Sierra Leone.
This is year Real Aid are continuing to support all of their international projects. In 2011 they will also work with our partner charity Childslife to support and change the lives of many more children in Moldova, Eastern Europe and Kenya.
Childslife is based in the Netherlands and in this current economic climate the two charities are looking to share the cost of delivery and distribution ensuring all support goes further and directly to the children who need it most.
With your help Real Aid are looking forward to improving the lives of many more children.
