AFC Tickton Sharks U9 kept up their great form this season with a 2-0 win. In the first match Christopher Sebastian scored a superb opening goal after brilliant build up play by Joseph Grady and Alex Innes.
East Hull kept working hard but were kept goal less through outstanding defensive work by Rhys Uscroft and Aaron Allison. Josh Jones blasted the ball over the keeper for a great second goal. Oliver Wood came within inches of adding a third after working hard in attack.
The second match saw East Hull come out fighting and despite some fantastic goal keeping from Matthew Bennett they kept the pressure on AFC Tickton and where rewarded with their first goal.
AFC Tickton were not giving up and fought back into the game and kept the ball moving with some fantastic passes. Cailum Harris worked hard in midfield and a man of the match performance from Jack Burns kept the defense solid.
AFC Tickton equalised when from a corner Josh Jones slid the ball home from close range. But time had run out to get a second goal. Final score 1-1.
