Having ended their losing streak with a sketchy win over fellow strugglers Altrincham Kersal last weekend, Beverley RUFC head north to high flying Darlington Mowden Park on Saturday.
Whilst their confidence cannot be said to be fully restored yet, last week’s win and bonus point has certainly helped to ease the situation and the return of some of the injured players obviously helped.
Dave Worrall, in particular, made a huge impression in the twenty minutes or so that he featured, lifting the whole side and inspiring it to run in 22 points to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.
A repeat of those last 20 minutes this Saturday and the Beavers could cause a few eyebrows to be raised in the North East.
