Prospective students can find out more about courses on offer at East Riding College at three open events this month.
The open events are a chance to talk to tutors, find out more about courses and have a look round the College’s buildings. They are suitable for school leavers and adults, whether they are considering a full-time, part-time or higher education course or apprenticeship.
They will be held as follows:
• Tuesday, November 15, Gallows Lane, Beverley, 4pm to 7pm
• Tuesday, November 15, St James Street, Hull city centre, 4pm to 7pm, specifically for music courses
• Tuesday, November 22, St Mary’s Walk, Bridlington, 4pm to 7pm
Principal Derek Branton said:
“Although we are only two months into this academic year, many people are already turning their attention to their next step in education.”
“Our open events are an opportunity to meet our friendly tutors and guidance staff, consider your options and look at our excellent facilities.”
“Come along, whether you know what you want to do and simply want to find out more, or if you need to talk to someone about your future direction.”
There will be tutors present from all subject areas who will answer questions and chat about the courses, as well as help with completing application forms.
Visitors will be able to take a look at the excellent IT facilities which have benefited from a recent £1.5m investment in the latest information learning technologies and virtual learning environments at the Beverley and Bridlington campuses.
