Missed Chances Prove Costly For Town

Beverley Town were held to a draw by Westella & Willerby Reserves at the Norwood Recreation Ground.

The sides shared the points after drawing 3 – 3 with Towns goals coming from Danny Mackevyc, Jordan Easter and Connor Hawkes.

The result means Beverley Town are now 7th in the Humber Premier League with 19 points, 9 points behind league leaders Chalk Lane who won again at the weekend beating North Cave 4 – 0.

Assistant manager Ross Cording when asked about the draw said;

“I am never happy unless we win, but the Hammers done well at the KC ha!”

Beverley Town’s skipper Jonny Ricardo said;

“We should of won they were very poor but we didn’t defend well or put away enough of the chances we created.”
