Following two difficult consecutive away matches at Darlington MP and Waterloo, Beverley RUFC return to Beaver Park on Saturday to take on West Hartlepool.
Having spent last season in North East Division 1 following their relegation in 2010, Wests have bounced back and started this season in good style having won half of their games and they currently sit mid way in the league table.
For their part the Beavers put in an improved performance at Waterloo, but still made far too many elementary errors, and suffered another heavy defeat. West Hartlepool will come to Beverley full of confidence and, as is usual given their uncompromising style, they will, no doubt, prove difficult to beat.
That said, Beverley’s list of injured players is shortening and it is hoped that several will return to the squad to be available for selection.
Amongst these should be Mike Bradshaw, Richard Bussey, Fran Pickering and Rob Marson. Final selection will not be made until Thursday night after training.
